Who is responsible

The data controller is Cosmopti, established in France, publisher of aleavici.com and its subdomains. For any question about this policy or about your data, write to contact@aleavici.com.

Cookies

This site currently sets no cookies. Not for analytics, not for preferences, not for advertising. You are not asked to accept anything because there is nothing to accept.

Audience measurement

We use Umami to count visits. Umami is cookieless: it records the page requested, the referring site, and coarse technical information such as browser, operating system, country and screen size. It does not store an identifier on your device and does not build a profile across sites. We cannot identify you from it, and neither can we single you out from one visit to the next.

Because no personal data is processed for this purpose, no consent is requested for it.

Server logs

Our hosting provider records ordinary web-server logs, including IP addresses, for security and to keep the service running. These are retained for a limited period and are not used to profile visitors or combined with anything else.

What we never collect

There are no accounts, no newsletter, no comment system and no tracking pixels. The calculators and simulators on the finance and fiscal pages run entirely in your browser: what you type into them is never sent to us and never leaves your device.

Advertising

No advertising is currently served on this site. We intend to introduce Google AdSense. When that happens, this section will state the date, and:

• Google and its partners may set cookies or read identifiers on your device to serve and measure advertising.
• If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you will be asked for consent before any such cookie is set, and you will be able to refuse it or change your mind later without losing access to any of the content.
• Google's own handling of that data is described in its privacy and terms for partner sites. You can review and limit personalised advertising at myadcenter.google.com.

Refusing advertising cookies will not restrict anything on this site. Every page remains fully readable.

Where the data is

The site is hosted by OVH on servers in Montréal, Canada — a country recognised by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of protection for personal data. Umami Cloud processes measurement data on our behalf.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data concerning you, object to its processing, or ask for it in a portable form. Write to contact@aleavici.com and we will answer within one month.

In practice we hold very little that could concern you, and we would rather say that plainly than imply a filing cabinet that does not exist.

If you believe your rights are not respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority, the CNIL.

Changes

Any material change — advertising going live, a new third party, a new purpose — will be reflected here with a revised date above. We do not backdate this page.
